Sounds like a lot, but if i know its possible i will do it. Also, is there an oil cooler for trans oil? Does anybody know if its possible for me to add an oil cooler to the transmission? if i can, i will buy a very big oil cooler, with its own fan and put it in a custom spot. Didn't know if their is a proper hydraulic tans fluid for it. i had it turned up last winter, so i never had a problem with the trans temps getting high until it started getting warm outside. I did have the motor turned up a while back, which I'm sure affects my power train temps. I am sure its fine but if there is a way, i would like to keep my oil as cool as possible to get maximum trans pressure so things last longer (especially the clutches or what ever) if you know what i mean. there is green, then yellow then red on the gage, about 45 minutes of heavy dozing, it rests between the green and yellow exactly. after about 45 minutes of dozing with it, "clearing forestry for farming", the converter temps get king of up there. If any one knows the correct oil that would be great, i wouldn't mind changing it again. i kept having something bug me about it because a long long time ago i thought i read somewhere about dozers requiring a special type of fluid for the trannies otherwise you could burn your clutches?.
